  • How do I buy a ticket?

    First create a user account at culturebase.org (Assistance in the next menu item), log in to it and call up the program overview (FILMS or COMPILATIONS). Select a movie by clicking on it. The details page will now open. In the next step, please click on "Watch now".


    Now select your desired ticket. You have the option to see single films by a single ticket for 5€ euros/ 6€ with Soli contribution or you can purchase a season ticket and after the purchase process call up all available festival films.


    Now click on the ticket that you want to buy. The payment form will now open. PayPal and credit card are available as payment methods. Please choose one of the two and go through the payment process. You will receive a confirmation by email after your payment.

    Set up a user account on this website with your email address and a personal password (LOGIN at the top right). If you have successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation email with an activation link for your account by email (please also check your spam folder!).


    By clicking the confirmation link in the email, you will activate your account. You are now automatically logged in and your name appears in the upper right corner of the screen instead of LOGIN.


    Now you can browse the film and compilation offer and buy or access films.

    No, you can purchase a film in advance from November 6th, 2020. From the originally planned start of the film in the festival cinema, this film will be activated for you. It is available to you for 24 hours from the first start of the film (click on the play button).

     If the playback of the film lags or stops, it's best to reload the page. You can pause the movie, reload the page, and then start playing the movie again. You can then scroll to the point where you left off. You can also try playback in a different browser.
